Translator here. What people doesn't seem to understand about MTL is that you're NOT supposed to blindly entrust your work on it and call it a day. Doing this literally means you do NOT *care* about the quality of your work and purely doing it for engagement points. MTL cannot distinguish secondary or tertiary meanings without proper context. And naturally, when you blindly entrust your work on it with ZERO knowledge on the source language, such things are inevitable. Besides, MTL is supposed to reduce the workload of complex and long written text such as a 4-5 lines long paragraph sentences, rather than using it on artistic works like these just to pump out unedited low-effort slop. Using it for Manga/Doujinshi without having a grasp on source language WILL generate mistranslated results without proper editing. Also, do you really think people will not notice? And I'm not talking about Rough Translation tag. That aside, another problem with MTL slop like this is that there is literally ZERO effort on fixing the typesetting, fixing the speech bubbles and editing the translation work to make it look like more authentic, more pleasant for users to read. What I'm referring to are SFX translations and all. Stuff like these also require a grasp on image manipulation skills.

TL;DR don't go ahead and say "Uhh, this is MTL either take it or leave it." You're not doing anyone any favor of providing any sort of convenience nor you're not fooling anyone, no one is stupid enough not to notice this. You're only embarrassing yourself with a bright flashing lights for everyone to see. Either put some actual skill and effort to learn Japanese and image editing software to do it properly, or like mlpoknbji said, don't do it at all. Until then, away to the Hall of Shame with you.
