Exactly part of the reason why I stopped AK; baller character design, but terrible in combat.
If there's a small handful of them it's understandable but the game roster has now grown so large, about 70% of it consists of this archetype while the other 20% are similarly well-designed, but niche-role characters that only see daylight in select challenges/modes. The final 10% are the boring meta of meta characters that plow basically everything and anything, including stages where the niche operators were supposed to shine.
