Working from the Goof Troop Wiki, there's 7 years between Pistol and Max, and he's 18 in An extremely Goofy Movie where he starts college. Spoonerville is in Ohio, where the AoC is 16. Max would be 23 if she were 16, which seems unlikely.as he's still in college, presumably an undergrad, unless he extended his degree by a couple years.

So, any Pistol related stuff is out.

Those are some mental gymnastics if I ever see some. Sure, I've seen the author say on Furaffinity that he won't have Pistol take part in the sex (dunno if that include some solo action tho) citing how the comic happens like two years after the second movie (so 2002, apparently, that's why she has a GBA) so she would be like 13, but you guys are trying way too hard still.

Then again, I still don't see a good reason not to have her do anything, but that's just me.

I think the stuff with Pistol is probably confusing some people because it seems contradictory and muddled.

On one hand, the author says "She won't be involved because she's underage" but at the same time, is allowing her to 1) discover and watch Max taking Peg doggystyle, and 2) For Max and Peg to carry on at loud volume so she has to ask "Shall I wear my headphones?" (which turn out not to be all that effective at drowning out the noise).

So whilst 99.9% of people understand that underage = bad, knowingly exposing a minor to sexual activity is also equally bad and illegal in most developed countries.

Might as well just have left Pistol out entirely for simplicity's sake.....or if the author rows back on what he said......it'll end up on the dark version of this site.

I take parenthood incredibly seriously. I find the constant comments expecting me to burden a college-aged student with the emotional, mental, and financial burden of a child just because he and Peg had a fling is incredibly annoying.

Do people have any idea how hard being a parent is? Why can't this just be an inconsequential fling? I even went through the trouble of breaking Peg and Pete up so Max wouldn't be a homewrecker.

I've only ever drawn a single image that even implies pregnancy, and that was only because I felt the image actually called for it and was more interesting because of it. Otherwise, it's not my wheelhouse, and I will call out or delete any comments that imply it. My comic, my rules.

Coming back to the comment section after a month or so, I think there is sort of miscommunication here, When I say “Bummer” that doesn’t mean I was attacking you or anything. given your art style and and the story it is hot and compelling, and when I said “bummer”, I mean it as “Oh well, would have been even hotter but life goes on.”. I get that Artists tend to get a bunch of messages or notes from either haters or “overzealous fans” that strongly expressed “demands” for how an artist’s story goes and can get annoying, I would like to clarify I am neither here, and don’t want to rub off that impression and would like to be on good terms. So to reiterate, that comment is nothing against you or your beliefs (not that I knew of) but just saying would have been an extra plus as a reader who appreciates your art/story.

I loved this whole comic right up until the ending. It's the right mix of drama, humor, and sexiness all around. And compared to literally every other Max/Peg comic out there, this one is the best in terms of both writing and art - nothing else comes close. But that ending...man, I know I'll be laughed at for this, but when porn tries to have an actual plot/theme, it should follow the same conventions as any other written story AND feel satisfying all the way through. This comic was hinting all the way through that Max would at least call Roxanne at the end of the story, and if he'd done that after a brief conversation with Peg in the morning, even just a frame where Roxanne picks up the phone would've been satisfying. It would also have left a story thread for people's imaginations to pick up on, and "leave them wanting more" is always a good principle to follow. The KH ending, on the other hand, feels like it was tacked on for the reference itself. It doesn't jive with the rest of the comic, and it left a sour taste in my mouth after so much sweetness before it. Absurdity might work in some stories, even smutty ones, but it should still be on-theme. Pistol walking in on Peg and Max worked because it fit the story; the KH ending didn't fit at all, and that's why it didn't work. Again: Great art, fun story, loved the comic almost all the way through, but damn did that ending leave me unsatisfied. With a different, more thematically appropriate ending, this would've been a five-star comic. The best I can give this based on the ending we got is four stars - really good, but just shy of true greatness.

Thanks for the constructive critique, qkyyemyn. I'll keep that in mind. My thinking was that pretty much everything was said and done so I wanted to end on something unexpected and fun, but perhaps I should consider something more thematically appropriate for my work in the future.

I do appreciate the comic on the whole, don't get me wrong. (Page 19, the one where Peg takes off her bikini, is incredibly sexy and easily my favorite page of the comic.) I love how these characters look in your art style - it's got a softness to it that helps accentuate the curves of characters like Peg and Lisa. And while I'd bet on some people being annoyed by how Max and Peg keep getting interrupted until the last sex scene, I found it amusing and even a bit true-to-life that something kept getting in the way. What made me think the ending would go the way I had hoped was that page where Max is looking at his list of contacts: It heavily implied he was thinking about calling Roxanne, and Peg's bit about saying "hey" could've been paid off enormously with an ending where Max calls Roxanne and says "hey" when she answers. From there, readers could imagine the conversation themselves. Do they want Max to brag to Roxanne about banging Peg? Do they want Max to try and get back together with Roxanne? Do they think the two of them staying friends would be good enough for both of them? No matter how someone feels about that specific 'ship, an open ending that lets their imagination take over is exactly the kind of ending that would've pushed this comic to greatness.

My problem with the Kingdom Hearts ending is that the absurdity of that bit could've worked had it come earlier in the comic. A page early on where Max and Peg express a little confusion about the different places Goofy and Sylvia said they were going, only for the next page to reveal that Goofy and Sylvia are in a KH world, before continuing with the story would've been a fine gag. But coming at the end made it too jarring and didn't fit the tone of the story at that point. That's why I thought the comic would end with at least an attempt by Max to call Roxanne: It would've fit the tone of the story and paid off the "try saying 'hey'" bit from earlier.

Once more, with feeling: I loved this comic. The art is great, the writing feels true to the characters and has the perfect sense of humor, and the actual sex scenes are dynamite. The ending is literally the only complaint I have with it. I know you can't change the ending now and all, and I wouldn't ask you to do that, but if I could make a suggestion and not get bonked on the head for it: Would you consider an "epilogue" page/illustration that properly pays off the Max/Roxanne part of the story?
