You don't have to post every single piece of shit your image model shits out.

Just because you generated 500 images doesn't mean all 500 deserve an audience. Generation is cheap; curation is the skill. The value isn't in proving you can press "generate" over and over—it's in recognizing when something is actually worth showing.

An endless stream of nearly identical AI images doesn't demonstrate creativity. It demonstrates that the model can produce variations faster than you can exercise judgment. Flooding timelines with every output isn't sharing your best work; it's outsourcing your taste to a machine and expecting everyone else to sift through the results.

Artists have always produced far more than they publish. Photographers take hundreds of shots to share a handful. Writers delete more words than they keep. Designers discard dozens of concepts before presenting one. Editing is part of the creative process, not an obstacle to it.

AI shouldn't change that. If anything, it makes curation more important. When creating takes seconds, taste becomes the scarce resource. The interesting question isn't "What can the model generate?" It's "Which of these outputs is actually novel, compelling, technically impressive, or emotionally resonant?"

Your audience isn't obligated to watch your prompt history in real time. They don't need to see every almost-good image, every awkward composition, every sixth variation of the same character with slightly different lighting. Show the one that stands above the rest. If you can't identify which one that is, generate less or spend more time evaluating what you've made.

Posting less isn't hiding your work. It's respecting both your audience's attention and your own standards. A gallery is more memorable than a dump folder.

The easiest thing in the world is generating another image. The hard part—the part that still belongs to the human—is deciding that most of them aren't worth posting.
