I don't know if it's laziness, homophobia, ignorance, or a mixture of all 3, but it's sad that 10 years since the game came out, there's been more comics of Tracer getting fucked by a dude than there are of her fucking her girlfriend, Emily. It's as if to authors like this one, Tracer was never a lesbian and Emily never existed because Tracer is a piece of meat and not a three dimensional character. The comics itself is the same repetitive no-face dude fucking a girl with pose variations that's just the same pose with a slight alteration in the very next page. So not only are you reinforcing the lesbian erasure from Tracer's character, you're also being incredibly lazy as a comic artist. This lack of effort is why the score is so low and why you'll get dunked on in the comments. Believe me, my comment will be the only one giving you valid criticisms while everyone else calls it "trash" "dogshit" and "looks like AI" -.-

@partyon111 I'm a dude. It's the bare minimum of Tracer's character that she has a girlfriend. You'd think with how prevalent and hot lesbian porn is, there'd be no shortage of Tracer and Emily porn. Rule34 is essentially fanart for porn, and as such it's often made by fans of the source material. Fanmade content that expands on the IP is not uncommon, not even in porn. There was a porn comic of Kung Fu Panda that added new characters and told an original story involving Tigress' sexual repression. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think porn has to be just fluff.

@BJay653 The problem with your logic is that Blizzard is CONFIRMED, BY MULTIPLE SOURCES, to announce that a Character is gay, release a Character, or change a Character's lore to avoid controversy.
It's a running gag in the gaming news space that whenever Blizzard announces something stupid or gay, it's because they got caught doing something really stupid AND ILLEGAL.
Tracer ONLY got announced as a lesbian AFTER the Overwatch porn stuff and the "DRAMA (jazz hands)" about her ass happened.

Emily is a blank slate, she has been kept realistic and not dragged to the for front of Overwatch, an almost lip-service character because Blizzard Activision doesn't want make too many edits when they bring the game to other markets (such as removing the Tracer voice line you mentioned)

I did not say she can't be filled in by other writers in fanfiction, as a few I know of have. I am saying, "Why would they?" Overwatch has other characters, that if you're writing a Tracer centric lesbian romance you would pick, IE Widow, ECT. Which also adds more to your writing (Widow for instance adding a whole enemies to lovers thing) over an existing relationship.

Outside of that, it's porn. If you're invested enough to get into stupid arguments here about brainless filth, write it, make it, do it.
I'm stubborn and stupid enough to come back to this place for this, but not again.

@YoKnight every company is aware of porn based on their products. Often they opt not to draw attention to it, especially when their products are geared towards a younger audience. That doesn't mean they made Tracer a lesbian due to porn. For all we know, that was always the game plan since they developed her backstory.

@partyon111 Emily also appears in sprays and there's a line from Tracer about maybe visiting her when she's in the London map. It was confirmed by Jeff Kaplan that they didn't want Tracer's sexuality to be pandering, but rather realistic. You say she's a blank slate like she can't be given more personality. It's not difficult making her charming, funny, shy, or quirky, making it clear why Tracer fell in love with her in the first place.

It's nowhere near as complicated as it might seem.

Overwhelming majority of porn is straight porn. We can wax poetics on about how hot lesbian sex is 'till we break keyboards, but reality of it is M/F content is a lot more common than F/F content or M/M content or any other configuration.
Who or what character is means little if anything at all in that regard. You spend enough time around porn and you'll see it all - gay characters doing straight sex, straight characters doing gay sex, asexual characters doing sex at all, or even characters/objects with no sexual characteristics to speak of being sexualized.

The fact Tracer is canonicly a lesbian does not enter the equation, because to people doing porn art, animations, 3d renders etc. fact who character would fuck canonicly is irrelevant. The only metric is "is the character hot".
There's no malice, no nefarious plan to commit gay erasure. It's just an artist, drawign a character they find hot, doing things they thinkis hot.
It's not deeper than that.
