ごく普通で穏やかなインド人一家は、夫の仕事の都合で日本へ移り住んだ。夫婦はともに再婚で、夫には前妻との間に生まれた娘が一人おり、家族は三人で暮らしている。

娘は父親の再婚を一度も受け入れることができず、そのため継母との関係は決して良好とは言えなかった。

妻は若い頃、モデルとして活躍していたが、仕事一筋の人生を送ってきたため、結婚したのは比較的遅い時期だった。

An ordinary, peaceful Indian family moved to Japan because of the husband's job. Both husband and wife were remarried. The husband had a daughter from his previous marriage, and the three of them lived together as a family.

The daughter was never able to accept her father's remarriage, and as a result, her relationship with her stepmother was never a good one.

In her younger years, the wife had worked as a successful model. However, because she had devoted herself entirely to her career, she did not marry until relatively late in life.
