Needs a sequel. There are a lot of plot points that imply certain things, but never see solid resolution. Like the magatama and his feeling that he needs to find something, the land being a place for youkai and humans to co-exist, the nostalgic feeling she gets, etc etc. All of this point to him either being part youkai and not knowing it, having an ancestor that came from that place but wasn't necessarily a youkai, or even some sort of reincarnation of a former resident.
