>omg why are you making fun of me for making poor health decisions!? >OH I KNOW! why don't I FORCE you to make the same poor health decisions I have, in order to make you understand what is like being me! >Its not like it was my choice to be a little fluffy! so let me remove your agency from the equation so you can have a little taste of you're own medicine!
The story is so on the nose I can't tell if this was written by a fat woman or someone trying to make fun of delusional fat women.
I think it's more like "Bullying people for aspects you don't fully understand is a shitty thing to do and creates an environment where people are likely to abandon you at the drop of a hat." Which is just true! Hate is not a good bonding agent. It makes friendships conditional, and therein expendable, whereas bonding over something you Love is far more likely to make something stick.
I do think that the story started off as way more of a basic revenge fantasy and then turned into something far more partways through, because there are some pretty bad implications that can be extrapolated from the fact that someone was forced into something and then enjoy it too much to stop. But at the same time... if you truly Do enjoy it, then you can decide for yourself whether being forced into it was really that bad in the end!
