I love how Kakuninii does this kind of mind control protag. There's a truth to Tenma's contradictions, even if some of the inconsistency is for comedy's sake. He's neurotic about what girls MAY think of him, but he's okay knowing for sure that Nao looks down on him. He doesn't even stop her from expressing it.
