There were a few issues before, and I’ve tried my best to fix them.
1.Since every video has a different aspect ratio, I originally tried to force all videos into the same ratio. But that ended up stretching some videos quite badly, making them look blurry and also increasing the file size. So now I’ve changed it to automatically detect the video dimensions and keep the converted video as close to the original aspect ratio as possible.
2.Before, I used the same fixed frame rate, resolution, and quality settings for every video. But since the videos all have different lengths and aspect ratios, some converted files ended up over 20 MB, while others were way below that. Now I start with the highest conversion settings first. If the converted file is over 20 MB, the system automatically lowers the settings step by step until it gets the first version that’s under 20 MB.
3.To avoid making the videos too blurry, if the file is still over 20 MB, I first lower the conversion quality, then the frame rate, and finally the resolution. After the optimization, most videos end up around 30 FPS and Quality 88.
I’m honestly not very technical, so this is about as much as I’ve been able to figure out for now. If you have any better suggestions, please feel free to let me know. Thanks!
I also noticed that some of the videos I uploaded before were pretty blurry, so sorry about that.
