I did this on a whim after rediscovering the artist. Yes, I used MTL, then edited/researched the dialogue to hopefully make it not read like slop. No, that doesn't really make it better, so if you have issues with how this came out, feel free to tell me.

MTL gets a bad rap, but I think it’s mainly from people shoving it into the translator and not bothering to clean, redraw, and grammar check it all. Thus shoveling out hundreds of poorly Tl’d work and ruining it for others.
Honestly this looks decent and somewhat cohesive. Room for improvement, but respect for putting in the effort others don’t bother with.

Akaishi Shiroishi is an acquired taste, and we haven't had a non-MTL from them in years now. A rather difficult artist to translate sure, so I guess it is what it is.

Unpopular opinion: I'm actually fine with people using mtl on series that are have gone for long periods of time without a translation or are extremely unlikely to ever get a translation.

After all, a translation even if it's not the cleanest or the best quality still beats out no translation with no hope of ever getting one in the future.

That said, a low effort mtl on series that are new or likely to get translated is a whole different ballpark.

The feedback is appreciated, I don't think I have any disagreements with any of it. Also, I could've/should've posted the textless version, so I'll fix that now.

If I end up grabbing another work down the line, I'll focus on the cleanup and hope that lures in a TL or two to do the hard part. Then try my hand again at MTL if it goes quiet.
