The title intrigued me and decided to look it up. Entozoa is an old term in the 19th century that was used for internal parasites that live inside the organs and tissues of animals. Given the lines, "The worm slumbers in the mountain," and "The worm stirs...," worm might be referring to a parasite and the mountain is the host body, i.e. the player. I have a theory the game infected the people that were given the copy of it but hasn't progress yet because they didn't know they were playing the game, just not in the way it wants. Everyone, except for Jessica. Somehow, she figured out how to 'level up,' by killing her dad, either by out of pent-up anger or something else. Somewhere on the way, the parasite mutated her, making her look like the monster we see today. And by the way she said, 'Just one left,' the goal of the game is to reach level 100. But that leaves me with more questions:

How did an unknown video game company create a game that gives players a dangerous parasite?

Why is Jessica continuing her goal to kill in order to level up?

And finally, what happens if the player reaches level 100?

Just throwing some thoughts out because the comic had me hooked. Will be looking forward to the next pages when they come out.
