Reminds me of that old Mickey Mouse book, Mickey Mouse and the Boy Thursday. Mickey gets sent a "genuine African native" in a package of bananas and has to teach him "the right way to do things". The main conflict arises because the only things Thursday knows how to do are eating, worshiping, or performing acts of seemingly random violence. Shantelle is like that, but replace acts of violence with fucking.

There's no way the race element is unintentional, so what I'm wondering is if this was meant to be satire poking fun at the fantasy of keeping an exotic beauty as a pet and having to teach her basic life skills while she constantly wants to have sex with you. Page 19 has me leaning that way, but the way she gets more childish as time goes on (page 21 especially) has me tugging on my collar.
