What would you do in her position? If people start liking your cake enough that they would be happy with eating a smaller slice for the same price, or even if you could make profit from having enough costumers buying a product that requires less effort to make, saving your best recipes for a moment of crisis when sales are lower or your popularity diminish is the best call. She is just being smart and take advantage of such a favorable situation.
