Two years later, the sequel is here and Tsukuyomi really is teasing the fuck out of the audience it seems, red flags all over the place, at first the netorare scenario does not happen, it was very close, but it doesn't... but then THAT ENDING, the reddest flag yet, so much so Tsukuyomi literally ends this Part Two telling the reader this took a heavy turn, but you somehow should rest assured that this is not NTR (if you say so...).

Back in the 1st Part, Souma Koushiro was pretty eager to finally become one with his childhood friend Mio Kouyama, and he did that pretty well, having the forwardness to lose her virginity to her, and Mio clearly lost her to his, but as Souma noted Mio seemed to be a very passive girl, denoting several occasions where people just walked over her, having her bike stolen, random dudes who tried to flirt with her without Mio immediately shutting them down, being embarrassed to tell them off. Thus Souma tries to be firm in their relationship, Mio accepted that too back then, as she even refused a group hangout due the illusive basketball captain seemly being interested on Mio, which made Souma a little jealous so she didn't go.

However, this sequel now does develop on the fact that Souma and Mio's relationship was not actually quite romantic, right away Souma in his thoughts think he is doing good by sexing Mio all the time, feeling proud of himself by keeping her away from anyone else, but Souma in his mind doesn't even consider Mio his girlfriend, just a childhood friend still, showing the clear disconnect in his intentions, Souma even muses that he actually is doing nothing but fucking Mio, they don't talk too much beyond that.

This makes Souma quite the insecure hypocrite, he worries Mio will be taken by someone else but due his massive feelings of inadequacy over falling behind his track and field career after that injury, Souma has not made Mio his girlfriend, they are fucking in secret, despite both of their families actually being totally ok with them being a couple. Thus during a PE class, a guy named Marukido approached Mio, dude is very extroverted and showed clear interest on her as he asks if Tachibana, the senpai named in Part One, is dating Mio, she immediately denies, really then, Marukido heard, and lots of people actually, that Tachibana is obviously gunning for her, she better be careful then, that guy is a womanizer, he wouldn't cherish Mio. Souma glances at Mio talking to that guy, Souma doesn't like it, he heard this Marukido dude is a problem, dude got in trouble for swimming around naked at the school pool.

Marukido is smooth though, he doesn't press Mio after she denies being with Tachibana, and telling him she is not anyone's girlfriend right now... still, Souma is pissed, he quickly takes Mio afterwards to imprint on her body who owns her, he keeps rummaging in his mind that Mio is just too fucking easy going, anyone could take her, so he has to make sure she doesn't! Especially after a common dudes talk in the restroom had Marukido obliviously talk about Mio, how Tachibana is onto to her but Mio says she isn't, so maybe... with Souma right next to them, unknown to Marukido what he has with Mio in secret.

Mio keeps reassuring Souma she is not going to be taken, but Souma is not having it, his mind really is stuck on that mindset, again and again sexing Mio up, but not much beyond that, thus when Mio is invited to a hangout at the beach she invites Souma to go with her, nah, he refuses, and doesn't express any worry after Mio says only her girl frends be there, Souma is actually trying to get back on his feet for the tracking club so he will be busy, Mio is surprised, and happy as well. The of Mio's hangout Souma has a nightmare about Mio just getting fucked by all over, shit, maybe it was all the porn Souma watched?

Well then, at the beach Mio is with the girls, that is till a surprising encounter happens, it's Marukido, he went there too, what a coincidence! Marukido gets chummy with Mio right away, and what's more, he has picked up the fact Souma seems oddly fixated on Mio so he asks if they are dating, no, Mio says they aren't, it is more of a friends with benefits thing... which immediately makes Marukido see Souma and Tachibana senpai in the same light, warning Mio that guys who approach girls only for sex are no good, but Mio keeps firm in not letting herself sway, and Marukido keeps cool, easy and slow, just saying that if things don't work out with Souma then she could get with him, ok? Think about it.

All the while Mio is at the beach, there's juxtaposing panels and pages of Souma working hard at the training camp, quite interestingly it seems close to where Mio is...

Mio is alone after Marukido left her to think, Mio stands up and leaves but she immediately struck with a nasty scene, people fucking on broad daylight in a tent at the beach! What!? Mio is accosted by a guy who pushes her inside, he seems drunk, asking Mio if she know who he is, yes, she can tell he one of Marukido's buddies, good, good, he wants to have a good time before Marukido comes back, the others inside claim Marukido doesn't like when their hangouts get this sex fueled, even that guy has limits it seems, so let's finish it up before he comes back!

Mio is terrified, the pest is just casually trying to ease her up as if this was not a rape attempt, but Mio finds the strength to kick him in the nuts, shit, this starts to raise a commotion, several people round up that tent, we see Mio's friends on the back, saying there were away for while since some pushy dudes where trying to hit on them, what's this all about? Holy shit, Souma indeed was nearby as he consciously got away from his training site as he could not get Mio out of his head, that nightmare really did him in, then Mio screams Souma's name (she calls him Shi-chan, from Koushiro), Souma immediately rushes to that tent, and Marukido is back too, the guy is clearly ashamed... Souma takes Mio away, but rather than only comfort Mio he is quite pissed, didn't he say so, that Mio would fall for some trap sooner or later!? He is so mad that Souma takes Mio to a love hotel right away, to once again imprint himself on her, but this time Souma was very rough, fresh from being almost raped Mio says she doesn't feel good...

Souma pumped Mio threes times, afterwards he realized what he did was not ok, so he stopped seeking Mio out... Summer break is over, Souma and Mio went back to being just distant "friends", what more Souma lost his renewed vigor to rise back up the ranks at tracking again so he stopped training too. Then Marukido approached Mio, asking if everything is alright, did she sort things out with Souma? Mio can only think of Souma just casually calling her silly --- It's just innocent banter, but you gotta remember Souma throughout this entire story so far was never romantic towards Mio, so she couldn't really recall anything else to cherish --- so Mio only tells Marukido she hasn't spoken with Souma lately... shit, it's that so? Marukido took Mio to have his shitty ass friend profusely apologize for that attempted rape, he admits to being pretty drunk, please he would commit seppuku if she wants.

In the end, Marukido finally shoots his shot, since it seems Mio and Souma didn't work out, how about she go out with Marukido instead? As they are about to lock lips, then we see Souma having a little self-realization, maybe he should try to talk with Mio again tomorrow... THE END.

Holy shit, Tsukuyomi, again, trying to reassure this is not NTR, there will be none in the future. Still, what does It even mean, I've had my share of authors who seem to have a pretty out there definition of Netorare, and Tsukuyomi of all authors really like to make stories that are clearly netorare, but since the girl finds a "better" man in someone else that makes it fine? However, those past stories never had Tsukuyomi claim they weren't NTR, so the only thing that can happen in Part Three is for Souma and Mio patch things up if Tsukuyomi really insists this isn't their usual NTR plots.

Still bracing for Tsukuyomi playing the same tricks and have Marukido play the "better" man through, look at how "not-nice" Souma is portrayed, even though he actually saves Mio just in time from being raped, but acted rashly just after.

Now I fear Tsukuyomi is playing with the audience here by claiming this is not turning into netorare; looking at how insensitive the MC is being portrayed here, what if Tsukuyomi sees the girl moving on with a guy that actually treats her better as a genuine romance? It does seem to be in-line with several other Tsukuyomi works that were labeled as netorare, does the MC being kinda of an ass really not make this a NTR series in Tsukuyomi's mind? What happens next will tell, I hope.

The MC is an ass sure, but doesn't the girl act exactly as he fears? She is full of openings to be taken advantage from.
