Tomobiki (友引) literally translates to "pulling a friend". It is one of the six days in the traditional Japanese calendar system called Rokuyō (六曜), which people use to judge whether a day will bring good or bad luck, and more or less, the circle name is based on this. Miyake Tokeru was a simple salaryman and bishoujo fan who wasn't self conscious about his amateur drawings and published several of his sketchbooks as copybooks - this is one of the many he exhibited at various events. As this was published on August 8th of 1983, its unlikely it was actually at Comiket that year. These works are bishoujo texts that are, or at least were at the time, lolicon texts.
