He's probably having problem drawing hands like everyone. Hands and fingers is harder than the rest of the body. Each finger have different proportion and angle. Just compare those picture to your hand, you'll see what's wrong.

yep, we all have issues with hands...(that did NOT come out right...and neither did this...<.<)
Even professional artists have problems drawing them, heck, I'v ended up with hands that made the arms look to big in proportion to the character's own body...great gallery though, it's got a decent style.
