Grimoire Nier is a great piece of art, with many illustration from the game Nier, early concept of the characters, every weapon's story and a great chronological guide that binds Drakengard "E" ending to the world of Nier, along with many short stories that every Nier fan must know, as they explain everything about the world and characters, for example "And there were none" tells the tale of how the Grimoires were made, and you will know Grimoire Weiss and Noir when they were just kids used by adults to create the perfect war machines to fight the... well, you better discover that by yourself :)

It even have a E ending in form of short story, and one of the most emotive stories on all the world of Nier, "A little princess" explains the childhood of Fyra, and all she had to sacrifice to survive, a very sad story and one of my favorites.

I also recomend The Banket of the Red Witch to all futa fans, because it will reveal, in a very hot and explicit way why Kaine is an hermaphrodite, it will not tell you why, but that will be clarified at the end of the book on the interviews with Yoko Taro and the novelists, but if you don't want to spoil anything, leave the interviews for later.
