I agree with you point for point on this. While I am a white male, I don't usually mind/care about whether or not a protagonist is of a race different than my own. Lawrence Fishburn as the main character of a story did nothing to diminish it for me as a white guy. What's wrong with these comics is that they are both racist and exploitative. Their stories are driven by focusing on the negative stereotypes of one group in order to boost the status of another. I don't like it in any form of normal media or erotic.
