I'd say it's less of that Tengu, and more of the fact that the protagonist is a greedy and indecisive prick. He leads the girls along in his little harem, but they want to be exclusive with him, and in later volumes the jealousy reaches peaks, and they at times find other men to satisfy them because he's too busy chasing off other girls instead. He always gets them back in the end, though.

Well, that and other problems. There's a lot of evil men in this series too.

EDIT: Oh and to prove a point, the rich girl in Chapter 6 becomes a rape slave by the end of this volume, and pretty much stays that way until the end of the series. Just a fair warning.

It sucks that his latest work which is better is censored while this is not after continually being disappointed by great.
