I started this because I saw "Big Breasts" and "Touhou". Man, this caught me off guard so hard. The art style's beautiful. But with all the feels, I couldn't even really look at the bewbs with the eyes I normally do. It was part of the story. And man, what a nice one this was. Practically had me tearing up at the end there. Nice one. Definitely one to remember.

Whether that's the case in the canon can be argued (though I think it's the same there too), but in this doujin, specifically ONLY the memories of the previous generations are carried over to the next. The wishes, regrets, hopes, and desires of the previous girls were actually being written down and left to the next generations, and Aya was acting upon Anana's wishes that had been written down at first. But she soon realized that the feelings she had for the guy were exclusively her own, and not Anana's. After all, Anana wouldn't have had to right anything down if, indeed, all that carried over to the next generations.

Each generation is/was their own girl with their own feelings, dreams, hopes, regrets, and wishes and lives to live. Anana and Aya had lived how they wanted to (for the most part), after all. That was the point the guy was trying to convey to Akyuu in the end when she was talking about atoning for her past generations.

The 1st and 2nd were selfish for not being honest about what would happen in the future. Maybe they were trying to shield him, but in the end the truth just hit him harder when it finally came. I'm unsure about the 3rd one, but given that she's his daughter nothing will probably happen. Such a sad and uneventful ending...
