Just in case anyone was wondering about the quality of the scans, its not the scanner's fault. I have the art book and the printing used (at least the U.S. one) is kinda cheap. (Its NOWHERE near the high quality, glossy prints you see in ~$40 artbooks)

This game turned out to be fantastically good! It's a love letter to beloved games of the past, brings back the high fantasy genre (in my opinion), is filled with clever references up the wazoo and has such a rich trove of art and game content.

It doesn't hurt that every character down to the last NPC is a walking hentai doujinn waiting to happen.
