I think it's just that rape sells more in japan as his earlier stuff was pretty vanilla same with the marisa thing he was a part in. If an artist has vanilla art on pixiv/website and a rape doujin, it's likely because rape sells more.

Though with CGRascal involved he likely did it on the spurr of the moment.

On the doujin itself, it was a nice short rape of Alice and of course there was a "shady magician" that happened to get drugs to allow this to happen. Not new but a welcomed adddition.
