I enjoyed Horizon but I haven't really followed the threads or the efforts the fandoms been doing, what exactly are these? "Mininovels" included with the BD releases or something? Is there any new material (from the LNs) in them?

@Anonatron These 'mini' novels were bundled with the limited edition Bluray releases. They're written by the author and their story takes place a year before the story main Horizon series begins.
