Just a friendly point-out: The correct spelling for Theresa Cassidy's hero-name is "Siryn."

As for Siryn herself, I generally liked the character, it is hard not to like an attractive & fiery-tempered redhead. ;p
Siryn also had some very humanizing qualities in being the biological daughter of a super-hero (Banshee) who never knew she existed until they met in-person; yet raised as the adoptive daughter of a super-villain (Black Tom), who despite being a super-villain, genuinely loved Siryn as his own (Black Tom raised Siryn as his daughter before he became a super-villain).
That and her alcoholic issues, ironically passed down from BOTH her fathers, which could have given Tony Stark a run for his money in dealing with the "demon in a bottle."
It is sad that the Marvel writers mostly wrote Siryn off as a throwaway character after joining X-Factor. :(
Showing my fanboy here, but I swear that first one is just a re-color of Caitlyn Fairchild from Gen 13. Or at least it's the kind of pose she was more often drawn in. Though I can't be sure unless I see the legs. Nobody has her legs.
