I don't have enough free time today, so I'll finish and upload the rest later.

I was initially just going to translate and edit a page or two to try my luck at vertical text-bubbles (which this particular doujinshi applies ever so graciously), but I couldn't stop once I started. (^-^;)

I've been translating for many years (some of you who have been around longer than others have probably downloaded some popular anime titles via KaZaA back in the day that I've worked on), but this is my first time also doing the editing (scanlation-wise). I'm going for a minimalist approach here so as to not take away too much from the actual art, but if anyone has any positive feedback to leave for me, feel free to do so in the comments section.

Look at other peoples edits for reference, read some guides, join a group, make an editing bounty, etc....
There are really a bunch of ways to go about it. But I'm simply too tired to give any more specific advice right now, sorry.
Edit: A lot of people are doing this for free (including me), so that's not really much of an argument.
And vertical alignment simply doesn't work in english. It's hard to read and looks plain horrible. Really, just look around.

There's more than a couple doujin from this same author on here, already translated by multiple groups/people. You could have a look at those to see how they've handled the elongated speech bubbles, but as a tip, vertically aligned comic sans is not really the way to go.

If you don't wanna bother with the edit, you can always ask for help on the forums— I bet you'll find someone willing to do it in a heartbeat. If you don't wanna even ask, then don't, it's your choice, but what you've got so far is pretty damn shitty.

(While you're at it: level the images, and save them as 32 colors PNG files. Or, again, get an editor to do it for you.)

On the other hand, if you teamed up with CGRascal, you could actually do some quality work! His editing skills (because his TL barely qualifies as English) and your TL (because you can't edit for shit) would fit together.
