The main reason to not translate "baka", in my opinion, is NOT "just because you can" because you're the translator and translators can translate badly if they want to, unless you're CGrascal or Laruffi, in which case everyone circlejerks about how bad you are. The only legitimate reason to not translate that I can think of is for comedic effect, in the same vein of "just as keikaku", and reminiscent of some of [gg]'s trollsubs (see Hidan no Aria). This scene does not seem to have been written with comedy in mind.

Honestly confused as to how the top-rated comment is in agreement with the lesser of the neg-rated comments, when the lowest of the low essentially disagrees with both of them without calling anyone names or referencing any translators infamous for their lack of effort or claiming people won't know something people probably should realize before coming to a site that deals in hentai.
