Anyone else see the distinct touch of Kinbou Sokai in this artist's hair, face, and glossy spots? I would bet a dollar that this artist was inspired by Kinbou Sokai
@Doallyn I don't know but i bet all my Haths and Credits that the next one to be scanned will be the other Kancolle doujinshi from C85 (http://www.toranoana.jp/mailorder/article/04/0030/18/07/040030180797.html) instead of the long missing Taimanin Yukikaze one from C83 (http://www.toranoana.jp/mailorder/article/04/0030/09/73/040030097315.html) >_>
The English name of this book should be "Hurricane Bow", not "Hurricane Bau".
「ばう」 is the Japanese approximation of English "bow", meaning the front of a ship (and not "bow" as in "bow-and-arrow", which would probably be 「ぼ・ボ」 in kana.)
A "hurricane bow" refers to a bow on a carrier that is sealed up to the flight deck, for improved durability during severe weather. Taihou was the first Japanese carrier to have this feature.
