The confusion here is because of the line "original is PNG Files". Because that implies that the original, unedited version of this is png. This line is completely unnecessary, and only serves to confuse the reader. There are three logical ways to download the images: archive, torrent, and H@H download. All three will yield these pngs you're talking about.

Also, it's best to not level raws, ESPECIALLY when you're overleveling them. This is because editors will generally use more tools than just leveling to clean the scans, and removal of any color information makes their job harder.

You're right. I deleted that line.to Avoid misunderstandings.

Black and white comics only need grayscale.
Use another color space will cause color noise when editing.
So grayscale more reasonable.

However, I think there's scanning and translator, may indeed do not like others to assist.
The future may not spend time in the making translation file upload.
Intention is hoped that other countries translator. Can save time.

Over leveled, off white, missed cleans everywhere possible, would have to be 100% re-cleaned for a proper edit.

While the intentions are nice, this really isn't going to help anyone.

Can we collectively agree not to upload this kind of stuff anymore? The short version is that there's no point in just erasing simple text from black/white bubbles for the off chance someone might want to translate it. When a translator even touches this, they'll either work the editing themselves from scratch or get a dedicated Editor to work the pages and apply all the needed text. If you do still wish to pursue editing pages books to make it easier for future translators, then just tackle something far more complex like books and CG sets that specifically have all transparent bubbles, or work on overhauling and sexifying poorly scanned books.
