The idea of Abyssal versions of the Kanmusus has merit. Most of the historical ships in KC were sunk in WWII. So imagine KC events for Battle of Leyte Gulf and Operation Ten-Go (where Yamato was sunk).

KC event mimicking Leyte Gulf would be absolutely epic. It was a truly large battle and the IJN had horrendous losses. Those losses include some very recognizable names that any player of KC would open their eyes wide with.

I love the fanon concept of Kanmusus becoming Abyssals, if anything because they become much cooler this way. A few similar works by other artists are as good as these.

I also see it's the same artist that made a "parody" that crossed Kancolle with G-Gundam. Great.
