If it's just a 'Kongou sneaks into the Admiral's room for BURNING LOVE', why did we need the drama in the beginning with Kaga dying? It was kinda glossed over pretty quickly for something so dramatic.

I do not think Kaga, Hiei and etc were ACTUALLY dying/killed/sunken because it says Kongou was also "destroyed" and she is walking around fine. I think rather than destroyed the translator does not play Kancolle and or cannot find the right words to describe hit to 1 hp. Because as people that DO play Kancolle we all know unless they were in the red already you cannot lose shipgirls permanently or "destroyed" because they will stay at 1hp.

further evidence that the translator does not play kancolle is that he used the term docks for the repair bay instead of baths which is what Teitokus (admirals) usually call it because in game the ship girls take really long baths (24+ hours for full Kaga recovery -_-) to recover hp and they use buckets of super special water to instant recover. He also calls her slutty fleet girl instead of ship girl, ship daughter, kanmusu or etc which further suggest the translator is doing literal translations and does not play the game/know about game concepts

@Randomguy664 take a look in the original work, the term used was “大破”, which means badly damaged. If she was sunk it would be “轟沉”.
