This Asanagi signs his work あさなぎ, also pronounced "Asanagi"
Because they're spelled differently, so googling it wouldn't have turned it up, and because Fatalpulse Asanagi is mostly referred to as just Fatalpulse, this Asanagi probably just didn't know that the handle he picked was currently being used by one of the best artists in the industry. An unfortunate, but understandable mistake.
