Why is there one guy thinking that its a bad ending? It looks like a happy ending to me. Unless I'm missing something. Like the artist/writer writes sad stories or there is a sad anime to this.

It is obviously a bad ending. The father is much older on page 23 whereas she hasn't aged at all when you see her on page 25. She died in surgery and is a figment of his imagination.
