about the author, I can understand your thought.. but here is my opinion that you might want to hear.

1. maybe the author gain less income, but in exchange he got free publicity instead (I bought many of his manga while i was in japan, and I wouldn't buy them if I don't know his work first from the internet). in the end, i think his income is not very affected.

2. many people think that owning a physical books are much more preferable than the digital one, and gladly have both of them

3. many people who isn't really interested in the beginning, became fan because of scanlations

4. many people don't have access to the mangas, like i do.. in my country, pornographic contents are strictly prohibited, that's why i can only buy them while i was in japan. For other people who could never go to japan, they will never buy it anyway. that is why my first point (his income is not very affected) makes sense.

5. I personally think that doing a scanlation is a form of respect to the author. I am preserving his work, I want other to know his work too, and I want his work still exist even if the publisher doesn't release it anymore. all of that is simply because I like his work.

6. by doing scanlation, you opened a chance for the translators to work on them. I don't think kamitou masaki have an english publisher yet, and this is another publicity for him. I already did one whole volume translation, plus 3 chapters, and the other have also working on some chapters too. please check them out, and see how the people respond from their comment..

I also bought one of Kamitou's manga's but I had to go through a lot of hoops to do it in my country but I first saw his works here on Ehentai. If you choose to upload cool if not cool as well but thanks for this upload!
