Exactly why I dislike Chrom/Robin.

The people who write it forget that Chrom exists in their eagerness to write about how amazing, perfect, funny and interesting Robin is. Marth fights her father in the area, but it's more important that we relate this to Robin. Chrom's sister dies and yet the story is entirely about Robin and her feelings on the matter.

It's okay to let someone except your annoying mary-sue self insert have some screentime/develoment, for gods sake.

Makes me want to buy another 3DS and play this game again. Jube, keep it in your pants mate. That's the entire point of the story having a creatable character, it's our story. Chrom is just our partner.

If it was, I wouldn't mind so much. Instead it's all about Robin, the worlds greatest and most perfect Self Insert character. If Chrom was around or if it involved Robin from the game Fire Emblem: Awakening I wouldn't mind so much.

We can only dream though...

Did we read the same comic here @Jube? Because I'm certain that I read plenty of parts that were from Chrom's, Lissa's or even Lucina's perspective. Honestly I felt like Chrom actually got to play a bigger part in battles than I *usually* see in these kinds of comics. He did get to slay Validar where Robin was actually going to fail, and if Robin truly was so perfect she would have come up with a strategy to keep Emmeryn safe. Like say... a rescue staff? I felt that this Robin was actually fairly true to Robin from FE:A rather than just a self-insert if you are familiar with how reluctant Robin was to fall in love with Chrom before the war was over in their supports. Also I really enjoyed the part where her eyes were burning red with rage when she came to save Chrom from the Plegians, because it hinted towards her Grima heritage.

At the end of the day I think there's one thing we all have to remember, someone put a lot of time, effort, and love into making this little fan comic series and no matter what we may think as critics, they still created something worth far more than our opinions of it are worth.

Every Lissa moment in this is magical. I mean, the rest is good too, but Lissa's scenes are just great.
