While this is netori, there's a reason why netorare is there in the title of the story. The MC literally blackmails the wife (she doesn't want her husband to know she is an online masturbator) into masturbating, then a blowjob, then initially rape, before consensual sex. This was sold and advertised as netorare in Japan. No one says otherwise in the country where NTR originated as a word/term.

NTR does not care if the one being cheated on is acknowledged or not. It is a non-emotional term based on a non-emotional verb.
That explanation you make is just you justifying NTR coming from "you (your chosen self-insert)" so you don't feel bad about fapping to NTR.
But to the Japanese, the very creators of this term, NTR coming from a "good guy" is still NTR as if it came from a bad guy.
It's like saying the verb "run" does not mean "run" and that it means "jump" instead.
This double-standard/deviation does not exist in NTR at all.
