It's an earlier work, so it's a bit rougher. The artist continues to develop this aesthetic to do some really cool visual stuff in the ongoing prequel comic (Lovesyck).
I'm not sure what the protocol is for reposting freely accessible webcomics, but since the entirety of Oglaf has been uploaded, I think this should be fine? Obviously reading it on the artist's site would be preferable, but I imagine some people don't know about it.
Why does he have a separate Patreon page for both "Lovesyck" and "I Roved Out"? One gets barely $50 a month and hasn't updated in 2 years, the other gets over $2000. That's just splitting things unnecessarily.
The lovesyck patreon existed first IIRC. I guess they probably didn't incorporate it into the I Roved Out patreon because having people fund work for a separate comic the potentially might not be interested in might turn off backers?
