Hayakawa Naomi is a game & manga illustrator, character designer and director for various adult anime and worked also for regular anime projects. Unfortunately most of the adult anime works he worked for were very low budget so they don't give justice to his drawing talents.

One of his best personal works is known as "Beast City" or Inma Daitoshi. The first episode has also the sub-title Vampire Madonna, and this is the novel version.

Story is set in a futuristic world, within a megalopolis (Neo-Tokyo?) confined from the outside world. Mina and her two sidekicks are vampires fighting other evil creatures of the city. They can get their powers by drinking other fluids than blood, if you know what I mean. There is also a "Chosen One Who Will Bring The End Of The World As We Know It" plot similar to Urotsukodji.

The anime version was quite interesting for the first two episodes (both imported in the west), but the third and final episode was delayed by 1 year, with a mediocre production value in the end, even for adult animation standards. It has been fansubbed very recently so you can get what the crap is going on.
