It's pretty clear the Savage is no good. Black suits, black heart. But I still don't think wilde and hopps are believable as romantic partners.

Are we SURE that Jack Savage is a full blooded rabbit and not a cat/rabbit hybrid? I tried looking up striped rabbits and the only thing close was the Sumatran Striped rabbit but their stripes are bold and thick bands. All the other striped rabbits I found were plushies.... >_>

I have a feeling that this isn't the first time that Nick has run into Jack. His expression and demeanor seem to suggest that his experience with Jack is more then just surface tension. Nick's face on page 5 seems to read as, "No way, it can't be this guy". With Judy getting all girly gushy faced at meeting her "hero", I can see where Nick would feel betrayed by Judy.

Sorry Nick. I have had to work with people who I hated their guts too but had to for the greater good of the team. I will be happy to see how Nick gets the respect he deserves for being a good cop here.

I think it makes sense for Nick (or Judy) to get insecure when a potential mate that is the same species as their partner comes around

Lets face it, they can't have kids together, so the sense of insecurity hangs even higher for them, and they realize that maybe they will be left behind at some point for someone more "suitable" for the other, or that maybe they will be happier with someone of their own kind. Remember that Nick didn't have anybody that he was close with before he met Judy, so its pretty obvious he would be the most insecure of the two in a situation like this.

Pretty sure Nick wouldn't react like that. At least not that fast! I mean he went from calm and collected to jealous rage in 2 seconds. Would've made more sense if there were situations that happened after the fact, depicting Savage showing Nick up on multiple occasions. Unless there was more story for this somewhere and they're already dating.
