Again, not a race.

There are really only really 3 distinct races: Asian, Black, and Caucasian. Everyone else is a slight variation or combination. For example, Native Americans are Asians from Siberia who crossed the Bering straight and developed a darker pigment due to their newfound proximity to the equator, and Mexicans are a mix of Spaniards and Natives.

No they are their own distinct race even if they originate from asians. They have their own unique set of features that may slightly resemble asians but are largely distinct. And by your definition of variation you could argue that asians are a variation of caucasians.
