I love Dagashi's art style, the body ends up so detailed, but at the same time, some of the facial proportions are off. The eyes are suppose to be drawn on the center line of the head, but sometimes Dagashi draws the eyes far too high up.

I gotta say after reading through, that this was amazingly good. Simplistic and a little too used in terms of story, but it was delivered in an excellent manner. Plus the ending with that page that shows them returning with their daughter is absolutely fantastic. It told a good story with so few pages that it feels complete on it's own, even if it was or wasn't part of a tank.
