Usually I just rate doujins and sometimes look at the comments but....what are you trying to accomplish with your rewrites? Reevaluate your work or something.

Not sure if my understanding of the hate that rewrites attract, but I think it goes something like this:

Many feel that they bastardize or corrupts the stories or the continuity of the original artist and find it insulting and unforgivable. Add this with the trend that a lot of these tend to be written in butchered grammar so bad it makes your eyes want to bleed at times and you may develop a default reflex to down vote/rate these galleries as a trama induced form or self-defense.

That said, I didn't find this one that bad, and having seen no other translations of this particular story felt like the dialog was genuine to the progression of the scenes and would have never figured out it was a rewrite without it being so explicit in the title. Good job, m8.

I mean Ezra said before that he enjoys doing these and there are those who like it. Personally, I have never read any of his rewrite and don't plan to so I don't really care.

Again, If you despise this stuff so much just blacklist him and spare the hateful comments.

Everyone is quick to jump down the throat of this rewriter but nobody is stepping up and helping get proper translations of this artist's work done. I love this artist's art stye but everyone ignores their releases for fucking YEARS on end. I'm not even exaggerating. Kemomimi 3 by this artist came out in 2013 and it took THREE FUCKING YEARS for someone to touch it kemommi one was even worse with a 4 year delay before translation, and we got a rather terrible rewrite when it finally was translated. It's so frustrating. These new rewrites may be frowned upon but at least the story is somewhat coherent, and appears to match the story that the art portrays. I have no idea how different the rewrite is from the original but at least it's something.

He's really honest about being a rewrite, Idk why people knowingly click just to downvote, that's really sad lol.
Most doujins have the same shitty writing on their home language anyways. Like hell, I read a lot of doujins with my limited knowledge of japanese and I know I'm not missing much.
If you want proper english translations, why don't you guys learn japanese and try to translate it and edit it yourselves, is not a walk in the park.

Not my cup of tea, but the guy does tag it as a rewrite, so no need to complain. On a similar note, lurkers should learn their place and shut up, translators don´t get paid and they get criticized for working on these.

I do translations in my free time, and wasting it on assholes that think they´re entitled to receive free content is not worth it. Someone call me when this thing turns out like youtube and I can make money off the views.

People really want to bitch about something. It's even better when there's "consensus" about it. So yeah, some of them will even ignore "blacklist" advice and continue to downvote every new ezrewriter's gallery feeling superior.

I'd give you guys some credit if a real English translation was uploaded here so I could compare but alas, there's nothing.
Some people'd say in this case that nothing is better than this, but I disagree, this is work, it takes time and even if the person doing this knows no Japanese he's taking the time to make a coherent story that matches the pages and flows with the kinetic story. I don't really think that many doujinshi writers care about what exactly is said on the panels as long as they help the jizz come out. I've read really absurd stories despite being properly translated. There's nothing wrong with "rewriting", but this is actually a reinterpretation. It's about as much tampering as translating a doujinshi. You seem to forget that many doujinshi writers are actually against the practice that you defend so much, these people who think negatively of unapproved, accurate translations would think just about as negatively about this. Your claims and elitism become a little absurd after a little scrutiny.
You focus too much on the practical side of things and forget that things can also be done as art, just because it's not done the way you always thought it should be done doesn't mean that it deserves to be invalidated or ostracized.
He's delivering on untranslated work, doing something that others aren't.
Why are you defending those who did nothing about this?

It is funny to see people who do nothing at all but complain about the quality of what they get for free.
I am not against rewrites, but it could be done much better if you at least use some basic OCR or just look for some well known Japanese words to get an idea what this story is about.
like the 先生 sensei- teacher
or
お兄さん onichan - brother
and maybe some other.

all translations are rewrites in practice because the Japanese language is very different from English and doing literal translation is uncommon.

one bad thing about this rewrite is that when I read the real translation and rewrite they are horribly contradicting so it kinda feels bad.
if you got it right that he is not her brother but teacher it would be excellent work
