Perhaps im reading too much into it. But it seems author is doing a reality check here that such situation are not so black and white that one side walks away heart broken and devastated while other gets everything. I think it’s one of the issue that could no longer be fixed. The author already established what type of characters these females are, and no matter the context I generally don’t feel bad for them. He might as well focused on the Mc meeting someone new, and forming a closed bond, and playing games, while writing how the two girls spiral downwards. You even see it on the blond one, how there spreading she a slut if I’m correct. Make the black hair one whose probably class president start to neglect her duties, which leads to her fellow council condemning her or something. But hopefully people didn’t bully the author, but instead advice on how to approve future stories
