The English was too "decent" for it to be a pure machine translation, so I checked a few pages. There's a lot... wrong.

Just an example:

All of this stuff is made up, not to mention the actual mistranslations on that page. I don't think I've ever seen MTL "narrate" a page and add a bunch of completely made-up additions that don't exist in the original. Would this fall under a rewrite?

I know man! That's what I'm saying I have never seen a MTL like this, it's actually good, good enough that somehow crossed the line of translation and went to interpretation, which is where a lot of MTL fails since a lot of jap > eng relies on interpretation from the translator. This is the stuff the light novels started using I think.

I mean you had to go to page 77 to find something "wrong", I didn't even get there before cooming my balls off

I didn't have to read until page 77 to find a fault. It's a random page I picked, you dolt. There's mistakes starting on page 1.

My point is that this is basically a rewrite. The stuff it did translate "normally" also has "normal" translation mistakes. Not sure what you're gushing over.

To top everything off, I'm fairly certain this was translated from the Korean version, not the Japanese lol

FYI, nowadays there are automatic redrawing programs. There's possibly no effort here at all, as a machine can even typeset for you. You, SwigGecko are assuming too much from both sides.
