So from what I understand, my tip from a person that told me to stick to the font and size of the original mangaka was correct?

I changed to a different to try to make it look cooler cause someone told me to, supposedly cause the original font of the mangaka never changes and is pretty small

I will stick to exclusively what the original mangaka intended in text size and font, and do not cut words like this wo-rd

Stay as pure as possible to mangakas original intent

I do check that each and very kanji, hiragana and katakana is correct and go through various different japanese grammar sites to make sure I have the exact correct kanji shown on the scenes

My most used ones are:

Capture2text :manual ocr program to check every single word one by one manually

https://www.lexilogos.com/keyboard/japanese.php : for when the ocr does not read a kanji, I will go manually fix what it did not and look for the specific kanji on this list of every modern kanji used

Gimp2 for editting ( still trying to find what exact font the author uses sorry )

My current issue is getting the fonts of the guides to work in Gimp2, it does not have the fonts from the very helpful guides brought to me by the kind people in the comments, thought that may not be necessary in this case as Fukurou almost never changes fonts or text sizes (they like to write really tiny)

As of the time of writing this comment, I am looking into adding the font plugins for Gimp2 to match the ones shown in the guides

Except stopping the series of course since no one does it anyway, if someone else desires to translate it, then they are free to do so and can even put ( PRO TRANSLATION) on their chapters, I don't mind
