You should read the previous volumes first:
Volume 1: https://e-hentai.org/g/1132949/2920c2e514/ (Opening of Pacific War ~ Pearl Harbor)
Volume 2: https://e-hentai.org/g/1155961/db4a119787/ (Battle of Midway)
Volume 3: This one (Battle of Guadalcanal)

Corrections (thanks to mutopis):
pg 10, "when did you return?"
pg 11, "got nothing to do with it!"
pg 39, "were shot down"
pg 49, "direct negotiations"
pg 51, "torpedoes from behind them"

mfw a porn comic based on a game where warships are portrayed as cute little girls is more detailed and in depth than most Pacific War documentaries that I have seen on Discovery, National Geographic or the History channel...
Thank you for the translation! Here`s hoping you translate the rest of the series too.

Interesting. Essex is shown as a shipgirl rather than an Abyssal.

This is more like a history comic with just enough porn thrown in that I can't actually recommend it to respectable people just as a fun history thing.

pg 10, "what did you return?" seems like an odd sentence, "what did you turn into?" may sound better? or something similar.
pg 11, "it's not nothing to do with it!" should be, "got nothing to do with it!"
not sure about pg 39 if it is an error, "were shown down" maybe meant "were shot down"?
pg 49, "direct negations"? I think it should be, "direct negotiations"?
pg 51, "torpedoes form behind them" should be, "from"

Now i'm curious what is the author's source on this? It seems very detailed in some aspects (at the same time undetailed in some aspects).

@igurust

A good Japanese source is Japanese Destroyer Captain, written by Captain Tameichii Haha, captain of Amatsukaze and later Shigure. He was responsible for Shigure's reputation as a miracle ship, with no losses while he was captain. This is what I suspect he's using.

Neptune's Inferno, whose author escapes me at the moment, is a good companion book to the above mentioned title, covering Guadacanal from the US PoV.

Or maybe he just Wikipedia'd it

You should probably read some books especially from the 1980s to the present. Just beware of revisionism gone too far but most don't suffer from that anyway. They are far more detailed than this could hope to be. Also TV documentaries are for teenagers and kids, and well as adults who only have a passing interest. Other documentaries only go in detail about one ship.

The more the series goes by, you just know what's going to happen soon. At least Zuihou and Zuikaku can hopefully body a bit before that happens.

After all that attention and Tenryuu doesn't even die on screen. Rude.
